Here are some of our humble opinions on wines you can find in the Baltimore area. As useful and educational as a points system can be we prefer to steer clear of attributing numerical values. Our reason for this is that wine is not a static thing and numbers are. The overall impression of a wine can be affected by so many things: temperature, glassware used, transport and the circumstances when and where you drink it .We feel a number isn't enough information to give you a true "feel" of the wine.

We try to limit our reviews to wines that are available now or soon. Every now and then we taste something really great out of state and have to tell you about it. Our goal is to give you some food for thought, after all, you know what you like and what you don't so, ultimately; you are your own "wine expert".
