Ms. Berrocosa-Marbach is a Food & Wine professional who lives in Baltimore, Maryland. When not publishing Grapeevents.com, Ms. Berrocosa-Marbach is a monthly columnist for Smart Woman magazine and regularly contributes on WAMD and WBAL radio stations. Monyka also teaches wine, food and beverage classes in a variety of locations throughout Baltimore, namely Wine Underground, and Helen's Garden. .

We visit area retailers and tell you about the good ones to help you find the retailers that offer selection, knowledgeable staff and decent prices. Some people like to visit tons of wine stores, some people don't have the time to. We list these as a service to you, the consumer, because, good wine and good retailers go hand in hand.

Trying to find a good restaurant or B.Y.O.B?

We review and recommend local eateries where you can enjoy wine along with good food and good service. This started as our own address book, and then we figured, why not share our knowledge with fellow food and wine lovers?

We regularly review wines that are available in the Baltimore area and Delaware, we believe there's no point in hearing about something you can't find. We also believe that wine is for everyone and write our reviews with that in mind. Wine is meant to be enjoyed and commented on but, not overly intellectualized. We respect the talent of wine experts with knowledge and experience more illustrious than ours but feel there is a genuine need for clear, fun and accessible wine reviews. This is supposed to be fun, right?

Our newsletter is our travel journal that we share with you because we know everyone can't pick up and go taste wine for days at a time. We also hope that it will inspire you to do a little wine tourism of your own someday
